Across the street from Sundance there is a parking lot. Space is limited so it is recommended to carpool when possible.
Yes and no. Transportation is not provided by the bride or groom but there are buses that run from the neighboring town of St. Joe to Benton Harbor that will drop you right off at Sundance!
At the top of the page click "RSVP." Once you arrive there you can look up your name and respond with your RSVP. If you are having trouble with this, you can always contact the bride or groom with your RSVP.
Once you search your name in the "RSVP" tab, the page will list all of the people within your family/party. If we allotted for you to have a plus one, it will say once you search your name.
ASAP!!!! Our venue is very limited on space and we have far more friends and family than the venue can accommodate. So, getting a headcount early on is crucial if we are wanting to fill every available spot with our loved ones. :)
The address to our venue is 4817 Territorial Rd. Benton Harbor, MI 49022. The name of the venue sometimes appears as two different names. It will either be called "Sundance Studios" or "Sundance and the Secret Garden." It's easy to miss because it is very unassuming being next to a shell station and across the street from a dive bar.
Yes! Dinner is scheduled to start around 6pm following the ceremony.
Yes.
We do not have any plans to book a hotel block, but from what we have heard from family is that the Fairfield Inn in Watervliet, MI seems to be where most people are staying and the best deal currently at about $199/night. (Pro Tip: book your room ASAP because rates will continue to rise due to summer prices)
Formal to semi-formal attire. For our late spring/early summer wedding, our ceremony will be held outdoors and the reception will move indoors so dress with those details in mind. Of course be comfortable, but save those blue jeans and sneakers for another day. :)
We love your children, but due to space restrictions we cannot accommodate guests under the age of 18 with the exception of infants. We appreciate your understanding!
Yes! There will be beer, wine and liquor options available
Delicious Middle Eastern Food! We will be using one of our local to Kalamazoo favorites of Shawarma King for our wedding. It will be buffet style and there will be choices of beef shawarma, chicken shawarma, garlic potatoes, multiple rice options, multiple salad options, a cooked vegetable, as well as hummus and pita bread!
Yes! At the top of the page there is an option to click "Registry" where all of our registry items will be listed. We also have a cash fund available you can give to if you prefer!
Ceremony starts at 5:00pm so we would advise arriving between 4:30 and 4:45
We are having an unplugged ceremony. This means we ask that your cell phones and cameras be tucked away during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer to capture this moment for us and would be more than willing to share photos with you if you so desire. After the ceremony you may take as many photos as you like for the remainder of the evening.
Nope! Our venue does not require any mask mandates and neither do we. Of course, you are more than welcome to wear a mask if that makes you feel comfortable!
