Temple Square One of Salt Lake City’s most iconic landmarks, Temple Square is the historic center of the city and the headquarters of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is well known for its beautiful architecture, landscaped gardens, and cultural significance, and it attracts visitors from around the world. Please note: Temple Square is currently undergoing a major renovation to preserve and strengthen the Salt Lake Temple. Some areas and buildings may be closed, but parts of the grounds and surrounding downtown area remain open and worth visiting.
