Travel Notes on Visiting Guatemala and Antigua

Travel & Accommodations We kindly recommend flying into La Aurora International Airport (GUA) in Guatemala City. The journey from the airport to Antigua, Guatemala is approximately 1.5 hours, and Uber is safe and commonly used. Antigua offers a wide range of charming hotel options. We will be sharing a special discount code for Hotel Colonial, located just three minutes from our wedding venue, for those who wish to stay nearby. Antigua is a beautifully walkable town, known for its cobblestone streets and intimate charm. If your plans include staying in Antigua and returning to the airport, a rental car is not necessary. However, for those hoping to explore beyond the city, we recommend renting a car. Additional travel tips and recommendations will be added to our website as our celebration approaches. If you wish to begin planning your travel, please note that our wedding will take place on Saturday afternoon. We are so looking forward to celebrating together. A Special Note We understand that international travel may not be possible for everyone. With that in mind, we will also be hosting a celebration in Houston.
