Abdeh, Amin’s uncle, will be serving the role of Stari Svat. The second witness is called “stari svat” in Serbian; traditionally the stari svat is the groom’s uncle. Nowadays, he is jokingly called a “marriage elder” or “old wise man” and is someone the couple can go to as a source of advice and knowledge.

Jen is one of Mileva’s oldest friends, they often just refer to each other as cousins. Jen's role in the ceremony is "Kuma", one who is guardian of the bride and who will also become the spiritual parent of Amin’s and Mileva’s future children.

Isaac is Amin’s older brother. As the best man, he brings humor and unwavering support, ensuring everything goes smoothly on our special day. We’re so grateful to have him by our side!
