In the frosty morning at our 2004 cooking retreat nestled in the Tahoe National Forest, a resourceful soul emerged. Dave, bundled head to toe, volunteered for the task of roasting nuts and seeds over the campfire, a clever way to ward off the cold. It was there, by the warmth of the fire, that our paths first crossed.
From a simple "hello" to forever! Our journey began across the miles, a long-distance love story that blossomed after dividing our time between San Francisco and Detroit. Twenty years after our initial connection, we tied the knot at San Francisco's City Hall. My sister, Kathy L. Ong, by my side, witnessed our union and our new beginning together.
Following the ceremony, we look forward to continuing the celebration with family and friends in our hometowns. Even as we start this exciting chapter together, our love won't be tied down to one place. We'll cherish our time in both San Francisco and Detroit. Here's to many more years of love and laughter as husband and wife!
