The story of how we met is interesting to say the least, so if you know the details, look at you go. For those that don't know the nitty gritty stuff, basically we met through mutual friends. I think it was 2015 when we first met, but neither of us knew much about the other at the time. A few years pass by and we meet again in early 2019 and became almost inseparable by March.
This Fourth of July was packed with adventure thanks to a few of our friends--JD and Sam. It started off really slow but turned into going to cookouts and riding horses, which was surprisingly fun, amidst the chaos. It felt like we drove all over Alabama with how long it took to find where the horses were, but eventually we found the place and had some fun. As the day dwindled down, we grabbed dinner and came home to get ready for bed. Yanno the little conversations you have right before bed that you hardly ever remember? We had one of those, but it wasn't forgettable because it was the first time we said "I love you" to each other and meant it more than just friends.
We had only been dating a little under a year and a half, but when you know, you know. A month prior, Tyler and I took pictures in downtown Prattvile, AL with all the Christmas lights on Christmas Eve with a wonderful photographer and best friend, Myia. I really thought he was going to propose then because he'd been talking about it a lot more than usual, but that wasn't the case--we just got really good photos instead of our usual selfies. Tyler set up another photo session with Myia for January 10th, marking one year and five months of dating and I knew this was the day. It was the cutest little spot set up with champagne and so many of our pictures throughout our time together leading up to Tyler on one knee. I was so happy and giddy I forgot to say anything at first then finally said YES! We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with y'all. See you in May!
