What is the best way to get to Ithaca?

Answer

For those traveling from out of state, there are a few options. 1. Fly into Syracuse Hancock International Airport, the largest airport in the area. It's about a 90 minute drive to Ithaca. 2. Fly into Ithaca Tompkins International Airport. You can Uber from here to your lodging. 3. Elmira Corning Regional Airport is about a 45 minute drive from Ithaca.

Where should I stay?

La Tourelle Inn & Spa will be the most convenient spot! There are two options - either staying in the hotel or glamping at Firelight Camps on the same property. There are other hotels nearby including Country Inn & Suites (less than 5 minutes away) and Hotel Ithaca (see our "Travel & Lodging" page for the hotel discount). You can also take a look at the airbnbs in the area which may be more affordable.

When should I book my hotel?

ASAP! Ithaca in the summer is a tourist destination so hotels and airbnbs book up fast and prices go up as well!

What should I wear?

Answer

Anything that makes you feel comfortable and ready to party! What we like to call "Ithaca Formal" (aka garden party attire), we would love for you to come dressed in your favorite colors. The ceremony will be outside in the grass and the reception will take place both inside and outside. It is in August, so it may get hot! Make sure to wear something you can boogie down in!
