It all began in August 2017 in NYC when Miles walked into his first day on the job at Tusk Strategies and found his desk parked right next to a fellow intern, Maura. From day one, they became fast friends - cracking jokes & completing crossword puzzles at their desks. Miles, a local city slicker fresh off a whirlwind year of Oxford seminars, was eager to show a Maine transplant the ropes of NYC. He came equipped with an uncanny knowledge of classic bars and quiet reading spots, and a lifetime of tricks for surviving the city with your sanity intact, which became essential to Maura. Maura offered Miles an appreciation for slowing down and being kind to others. She helped foster his love for beer and oysters, hiking and cribbage. Before long, casual coffees became long outings at ABC Kitchen (thanks Josh!), late-night subway rides, and finally, a kiss in a wine bar in Williamsburg. The rest is history!
