The Dish is one of our favorite places to take a hike. The trail is paved, but there are some steep uphills that will provide you with expansive views of the Bay Area. The loop is about 3.5 miles in total, and takes about an hour to walk.
Fulfill all of your window-shopping and people-watching needs at Stanford Shopping Center! There are also good dining options here, such as Flemings, Shake Shack, and Tender Greens.
One of our favorite restaurants for consistently delicious food. Fun fact- we went here for dinner the night that we got engaged! This is where the rehearsal dinner will be held on Friday night.
Go see the giant Christmas tree lit up in front of Macy's, take a spin on the outdoor ice rink, or grab a drink and some fresh fish at a classic SF restaurant, Tadich Grill. From there, head over to the Ferry Building for Cowgirl Creamery cheese, Hog Island oysters, and Blue Bottle coffee! A food and fashion lover's dream. Downtown San Francisco is a ~45 minute car ride or Caltrain ride away from Menlo Park.
Lots of great restaurants, bars, and shops. University Avenue is a great place to spend an evening or an afternoon walking around. Try Joe and the Juice for some excellent coffee, make a reservation at Bird Dog for a unique dining experience, or hang with the locals and grab a drink at the Old Pro.
