This is one of the nicest beaches on Tahoe close to Reno. Beautiful scenery that can't be beat. The beach opens at 8am and we highly suggest you arrive early to make sure you can get a parking spot. Parking is $10, so make sure to bring cash!

Sand Harbor Beach

This is one of the first places in Reno that we discovered and has remained a staple! We even went here right after getting engaged. They have a ton of great beer and food. The Jalapeño poppers are to die for.

Great Basin Brewing Co

If you are looking for a night out, midtown is the place to go. Basically anywhere on South Virginia between Mt. Rose St. and California St. is full of restaurants and bars that are worth exploring

Midtown Reno

If you are going to go for a scenic drive, this should certainly be your destination! Check out Tahoe from a vantage point, there's nothing quite like it. There are a few hikes around here that come with views of waterfalls, too!

Emerald Bay

This is a great hike on one of the highest peaks in the area. Comes with great views of the lake and some small waterfalls. Don't forget to bring some water because it can get hot this time of year.

Mount Rose Summit

South Lake has tons of shops and restaurants. A great place to get your Lake Tahoe souvenirs!

The Eddy is a perfect family friendly bar to check out on a warm summer day. They have several large patio games from corn-hole to connect-4 and more.

If you need a quick bite to eat, everyone should try IN-N-OUT while they are on the west coast. Don't get your hopes up too high, we still think Culver's and Portillo's have them beat.
