. . . . . . .
Miles and Alexandria were both students at the Chicago College of Performing Arts, but their paths didn't cross until mutual friends conspired together to set them up. After a "chance" run-in at a party, they were in for it. For the remainder of the semester, they spent their time seeing plays, going on walks after backstage crew assignments, and trying not to let on how much they liked the other. When it was finally time for Miles to leave for a summer vacation, they were forced to spend some time apart. Alexandria walked Miles to the bus stop for a harder-than-expected goodbye. As she left to catch her train home, it suddenly started pouring rain while the train tracks simultaneously burst into flames (yes, this actually happened). The phrase, "distance makes the heart grow fonder," was proven day after day while Miles was away. When he arrived back to Chicago on May 24th, 2018, he went straight from O'Hare airport to Alexandria's apartment. He was then forced to admit he had been calling Alexandria his girlfriend the whole trip. She liked the sound of that, so they decided to make things "official." Exactly seven years later, they are making it official again by tying the knot!
