What is a welcome party?
Answer
In case it isn’t clear, everyone that is invited to the wedding is invited to the Welcome Party the night before. There will be another open bar and more music. With how busy we will be on the actual wedding day, we are excited for this to give us a longer amount of time to hangout with everyone.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
We kindly request that gentlemen wear dark suits or tuxedos, while ladies are encouraged to wear midi or floor-length gowns. We want everyone to look their best and celebrate in style!

Is there parking available at the venue?
Answer
WELCOME PARTY: Yes, valet is available at the Casa Monica Hotel. CEREMONY: Parking in St. Augustine can be a bit tricky, and we've put a lot of thought into this. Ultimately, we've decided not to rent a parking lot to encourage our local friends to join us without the worry of having to sober up before driving home. We want you to feel free to celebrate to your heart's content, knowing that you can enjoy the festivities without any transportation concerns. Plus, let's face it, Ubers are like Santa's sleighs during this season – they'll be your trusty ride whenever you need one!

Drinks will be available at 4 PM and the ceremony will start at 4:30 PM

Answer
In case you are interested in doing a little homework, check out the song All My Friends by the band LCD Soundsystem. This song is special to us, and our DJ will play it near the very end of the night. This could end up being 10-15 of us going crazy on the dance floor while 80-90 people awkwardly look on, and that will be perfectly acceptable. We have travelled to see this band 3 times together, and this song in particular always slaps.

Absolutely. We encourage all guests to showcase their best moves on the dance floor. Winner gets bragging rights for the rest of the night!

Where should I stay?

For your convenience, we've reserved a block of rooms at the Casa Monica Resort & Spa, located at 95 Cordova Street, St. Augustine, FL 32084, for March 8th and 9th. This beautiful hotel will also be the venue for our welcome party on the night before the wedding, and it is a short 5-minute walk to the ceremony and reception venue, The White Room. When booking, please remember to mention the Milano-Blair wedding to secure a special discounted rate. We can't wait to welcome you and celebrate together!
