Join the Mann Family for an evening celebrating two joyful Punjabi pre-wedding traditions. The Maiyan is a meaningful ceremony where family and friends apply a yellow turmeric paste on to the groom as a symbol of cleansing, blessings, and good fortune before the wedding day. The Jaggo, meaning “wake up,” is a vibrant celebration that traditionally announced the wedding to the community through music, dancing, and festivities. It’s an energetic evening where the groom’s family and friends come together to sing, dance, and celebrate. Together, these two ceremonies set the perfect tone for the wedding festivities ahead.
