Their journey unfolded against a backdrop of spontaneous road trips, visits to the record store, trying new restaurants, attending concerts & heartwarming moments with family in Cleveland and Sandusky. Milan and Jerry cherished every moment spent together. For Jerry, meeting Milan was a revelation, transforming his perspective on love and encouraging him to embrace new adventures, all thanks to Milan's radiant light and boundless energy. For Milan, meeting Jerry restored her hope in love and kindness in the world with his acts of kindness and being present for her in the midst of health challenges. In July 2022, Milan underwent a life-altering amputation, yet their bond remained unshakable. Their love withstood the ultimate test of time and adversity, helping them to grow as individuals and as a couple. Against the backdrop of the Scioto Mile downtown riverfront in Columbus, Ohio, on July 21, 2023, Jerry made their love official with a heartfelt proposal.
