We're so excited to celebrate with y'all!

Our story goes way back to 2010. Joey, a dear mutual friend, introduced us in the hallway of our college housing. I had just left my room to do laundry when there in the hall was Joey and his friend, Brian. After saying hello, Brian asked if I needed help carrying my laundry. This led to a first date and a second and so on. Sadly, we were too young and dumb and parted ways after a year. After not talking or seeing one another for years, 2014 rolls around and somehow we both end up at Joey's house to hang out. This opened the door to a new friendship with the past behind us. We loosely kept in touch and would give each other life advice, romantic advice, and just randomly say hi. Finally, it's my birthday in 2017 and Brian sends me a birthday message. If you know Brian, this was very rare. We hopped on the phone for the first time in 7 years and planned a hangout date in San Francisco. Brian came out days later, met my new son, Bentley who had just arrived from Ohio and the two hit it off. Bentley chose Brian to be the dad he needed and of course, I followed Bentley's lead! And here we are in 2021; a decade later for us to get it right but we did it!
