We have compiled a handful of answers to commonly asked wedding questions.
Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We have access to the ceremony venue for a limited amount of time; therefore, the ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30 PM. Please plan to arrive with enough time to be seated prior.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. We ask that you wear business casual attire, but please keep in mind both the ceremony and reception venues are outside so you'll want to be comfortable in the mountain air. A little skin is appropriate, but modesty is appreciated.

Can I bring a date?

Our reception venue has a limit on the number of guests that can be in attendance so we ask that only the invited guests attend.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, we do. Andrew's parents have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Flat Rock, NC in the past and loved it. The hotel is about 50 minutes from the ceremony venue and about 35 minutes away from the reception venue. We have linked the hotel on our Travel page.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes. There is parking available at both the ceremony and reception locations.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

I do not believe so. We recommend considering getting a rental car upon your arrival to South Carolina.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes, we will also be hosting a rehearsal dinner the day before the wedding. More information about the rehearsal dinner can be found on the Schedule page of our website.
