Cocktail Attire

LOCATION Our wedding will take place on Isola dei Pescatori, one of the charming islands on Lake Maggiore—so you’ll need to take a boat to get there. MEETING POINT Please be at the pier in front of Hotel La Palma by 5:15 PM, where our wedding organizer will greet you. https://maps.app.goo.gl/Yz1TxpgGMKRnTs2n8 The boat will depart promptly at 5:20 PM, so please be on time! If you happen to miss it, you’ll need to make your own way to Albergo Ristorante Verbano on the island. DRESS CODE: Women: Cocktail attire in any color except white (that one’s reserved for the bride!). Do keep in mind that the island has cobblestones and some uneven ground. Thin heels can sink into the stones and may not be ideal for getting on and off boats, so we recommend comfortable, stable shoes. Men: Suits or semi-formal jackets with dress shoes. We’d love for everyone to feel stylish but also comfortable throughout the evening—thank you for dressing with that in mind!

SCHEDULE: Ceremony & Reception: 4.30 pm-11 pm Afterparty: 11 pm-2.30 am BARAT GATHERING: 4:30 PM Guests from groom’s side: Please meet at Ninfeo dei Continenti by 4:30 PM to join Mihir for his procession toward the lawn at the Grand Hotel Des Iles Borromées. Guests from bride's side: Please gather directly on the lawn at the Grand Hotel Des Iles Borromées to welcome the groom’s arrival. DRESS CODE: We warmly invite everyone to dress in vibrant, traditional Indian clothing. Sarees, lehengas, anarkalis, sherwanis, and kurtas are all perfect choices. Kindly avoid wearing red, as it’s reserved for the bride. The evening celebration begins at 5:00 PM and will go strong until about 2:30 AM. There won’t be a formal break for outfit changes, so please come dressed for the full evening of celebration! P.S. Hotel Borromeecan hold a few small bags if coordinated with others, or you can leave one at the venue and change in the restroom before dancing.
