Once more details are confirmed, we will open our RSVPs.
RSVPs will open after we’ve shared all of the final wedding details. You’ll receive a specific RSVP deadline then, with ample time to respond. We truly appreciate your sending in your response by that date so we can finalize arrangements.
At this time, we are still finalizing details, so we kindly ask for your patience for more details. The wedding will take place in Houston, TX, in the city, near Montrose or the Museum District.
Some of our recomendations are: Hotel Saint Augustine - 3 to 5-minute drive and a 16-minute walk to the planned venue. Hotel Zaza, Houston Museum District - 7min drive (not walkable) The La Colombe d'Or hotel - 5-minute drive and walkable. Other hotels close by include: Hyatt Regency Houston Galleria Hyatt House Houston Galleria
The wedding is from 4:30 pm. The ceremony will begin at 5 pm sharp. We kindly ask that all guests arrive no later than 4:50 pm.
Elegant Cocktail Attire: Midi, Tea-Length, or Long Dresses. Ladies: We kindly ask that dresses be knee-length or longer. Beyond that, we encourage individuality, color, and personal style. Bold hues, unique silhouettes, statement jewelry, feathers, embellishments, heirloom pieces, and memorable accessories are all welcome. Most importantly, wear something that makes you feel confident, beautiful, and completely yourself. Gentlemen: Traditional black and navy are always welcome, but so are rich colors, interesting fabrics, patterned jackets, distinctive footwear, and statement accessories.
Having you celebrate with us is more than enough—we’re so grateful. For those who have asked, we’ll be adding a honeymoon fund link soon.
We’re so excited to celebrate with you! Because our venue has limited space, we’ve had to keep our guest list a bit on the smaller side. If your invitation includes a guest, we’d love for them to join you. If not, we hope you understand—we wish we could include everyone! Thank you so much for being part of our day.
We absolutely adore your little ones! Because of our venue’s limited space, we’re only able to include children who are part of our families and wedding party. Please check your invitation for those included. We’re so grateful for your understanding.
Yes—we feel so fortunate to celebrate in more than one place. While Houston is our home, Japan is a deeply meaningful part of our heritage, and many of our loved ones are there. To honor both, we’ll be holding a separate celebration in Japan for our family and friends there. While we truly wish we could have everyone join us for both celebrations, we kindly ask for your understanding that the Japan wedding will be reserved primarily for those who may not be able to travel to the U.S., so they can share in this special moment with us. A small number of guests, primarily close family, may be invited to celebrate with us at both events—we would be so happy to have you at each, but please don’t feel any pressure. For this reason, invitations are specific to each celebration, and we’re unable to accommodate switching between them. You’ll find details on which celebration(s) you’re invited to in your save-the-date.
We’re still finalizing details for our wedding in Japan and don’t have a website available just yet. If you’re invited, we kindly ask that you save the date for now—more information will be shared as it becomes available. Thank you so much for your patience! While we truly wish we could have everyone join us for both celebrations, we kindly ask for your understanding that the Japan wedding will be reserved primarily for those who may not be able to travel to the U.S.
