2020How We Met
July 15, 2018
It started with a no and ended with a yes. After Justin bailed on the first date, Mikosa gave him a second chance, and he took it. They met in St Paul at the restaurant Moscow on the Hill for their first date. Justin used a lot of big words, Mikosa was her charming usual self, and they hit it off. After many dates of food, drinks, soccer games, and sunsets, they fell in love.
The Proposal
January 1, 2020
Justin asked Mikosa if she wanted to go on a walk, outside, in the middle of winter. After convincing her to go, walking across the Stone Arch Bridge in Minneapolis, and getting down on one knee, Mikosa said yes! Her daughter, Afia also was consulted, and she also said yes (luckily).
