The Central Park of Austin. This is where ACL is held every year. Great open area to relax, have a picnic and a nice stroll.

Best BBQ in the NATION (t won ALL the awards).

I would order a month (or two) ahead of time and sync up your order during your stay. It's that big of a deal walk-ins wait at least 3 hours, if you're even lucky to get in.

Franklin Barbecue

Franklin's is the king but very hard to get. Le Barbecue is an excellent backup.

Just like Le Barbecue, if you can't get to Franklin's this is an excellent backup. Also gets crowded though!

Terry Black's Barbecue

Only if you have the time, this brewery has more than 165 acres and great to relax outside, see animals and get a walk in. Oh, and the beer is excellent too.

Jester King -- Brewery, Kitchen, Farm & Event Hall

Surprisingly, there are many vineyards west of Austin! This is one that we went to of over 60 wineries! Do some research on more vineyards to visit!
