The ceremony will be starting at 6:00pm at the Tree of Life in Audubon park. Please plan accordingly if you plan to drive, and park at the Audubon Tea Room. Champagne will be served for our 2nd line following immediately after the ceremony, which will take us all to the Tea Room. Enjoy passed hors d’oeuvres and grab a beverage at 7:00pm, followed by a seated dinner. The dance floor will open after dinner, until the grand bubble exit at 11pm. We look forward to celebrating with you!
Our ceremony will take place at the Tree of Life in Audubon Park, beginning at 6pm on May 28th, 2023. The Reception will take place at the Tea Room, a short walk from the Tree of Life. Due to parking limitations, we’re requesting everyone except for those with mobility needs park at the Tea Room parking lot, then walk to the Tree of Life.
5:45 PM Please allow time to walk to the Tree if you’re parking at the Tea Room, as recommended.
Yes! Our dress code is Formal, however please keep in mind that our ceremony will be held outside when selecting your shoes.
We have parking available at the reception venue, the Tea Room, which is a short distance from the Tree of Life where the ceremony will take place. We recommend parking at the Tea Room and walking over to the Tree if you are able! It’s about a 10 minute leisurely walk through the park. There is very limited parking at the Tree of Life, so we want to keep as many of those spots available as is possible for those with mobility issues and small children that may not be able to walk between venues. PLEASE NOTE We will be having a 2nd Line directly after the ceremony, which will take us straight to the Tea Room! We’d love for your cars to already be there so that you don’t need to walk back in the dark after the reception ends. ;)
Anyone but the bride! If you need to get in touch with her, please call either of her Maids of Honor: Emily (507) 339-7253 or Lesley (504) 710-2508. If you need to get in touch with the groom, please call either of the Best Men: Travis (308) 765-1072 or Will (763) 232-1948. If you have questions about the location or wedding details, please call our coordinator Lindsey (___) ___-____.
A Second Line is a traditional New Orleans parade lead by a brass band and parasol-toting bride and groom. It signifies a new life together, and allows our guests to partake in music, dancing, and community. Ours will take place directly following the ceremony, and will bring us to the Tea Room for dinner and dancing. ***we will have pedicabs rented for those with mobility issues who are unable to walk the 10-minute stroll to our reception venue during the Second Line. If you would like to request a pedicab, please let us know by the end of March at the latest.
If you’re staying on St. Charles, you can easily take the streetcar from your hotel to our venue or just to explore Nola! A one-way fare is $1.25 or you can purchase a “Jazzy Pass” for unlimited rides. You can pay in cash with exact change, or use the RTA GoMobile 2.0 app and purchase tickets through that. The app will show you where pickup stops are, and streetcar schedules/ETAs. Just remember, it takes a lot longer to travel by streetcar than to drive or Lyft, so please plan accordingly.
Short answer: Nobody knows! Nola has a reputation for tropical, mood-swing weather, so all we can do is hope for no rain and mild humidity 🤞 Please plan for 80° weather and pack and umbrella just in case.
Unfortunately due to limited space, only children in our families and wedding party will be invited, we thank you for understanding.
We have limited space and accommodations available, so only +1’s that have been included in your invites may attend. We thank you for your understanding!
