We’re getting married!

We met in 8th grade! One day there was this new kid, skater boy if you will. Skinny jeans, DC jacket, long shaggy hair. The cute new kid definitely caught my attention, and several others if I remember right. We became friends we texted a lot and he was always so sweet to me, almost everyday I got a hey beautiful text. Years went by and we went our separate ways. We would run into each other every now and then with the casual hello and that was all. Then one day, about two years ago a friend told me that Mikey was having a get together at his house. I thought to myself I needed to get out and do something so I messaged Mikey and asked if i could come. I believe his exact words were "hell yeah". That was the beginning of something wonderful! We spent everyday together after that; laughing, being ourselves with each other, learning about one another, and just becoming really good friends. We soon fell in love and the rest is history. We found true love with each other, and we can not wait to start our forever in marriage.

We went on vacation to visit family in Albuquerque, New Mexico where we took our very first trip together. We went to the beautiful hot air balloon fiesta! In the middle of all the balloons we went to take a picture together he leaned over and said “you know I love you right?” And the balloons were so loud I said “WHAT” and he got down on one knee and said “I want to be with you forever, will you marry me?!” I said “YES!”
