We met at a Christmas party, he went outside to use his vape and escape the social interactions while I was going outside to escape the terrible singing inside from karaoke inside. He asked me if I was okay and I said I was fine and he offered to give me a ride home. I declined. Over time we spoke via Facebook more and more, We became close friends. He fell in love first, told me many times but I wasn't into him in that way and just wanted to keep being his best friend. Throughout the year of friendship I got a lot of encouragement to finally say yes to him. So, we did. Now two years later we are saying yes to spending the rest our of lives together. We are forever happy that Christmas party happened and that I went instead of staying home like I was going to. Because we met our future, and best friend for life.
