Specifically, the 2 met via the ever exclusive Bumble app. But hold on because this story has a slight twist (by that, we mean it's very embarrassing to Michael and hilarious to Lacey). After matching on the "girls must message first" app, Lacey showed her initial interest by sending a cleverly written, "hi". But I guess that's how easy it is for girls like Lacey because boy, Michael. was. hooked. The two met in person for the first time at Honor Bar in Highland Park Village on a Tuesday night for drinks, and this is where it gets exciting (for Lacey). See, Michael was not quite himself. He was very nervous, shy and a bit (ok, a lot) awkward. He stumbled over himself to answer simple first date questions such as, "What do you and your friends do for fun on the weekends?" - which Michael responded with a soft, "Umm, putt-putt.
