We met through an online dating site. FaceTimed for weeks before we met in person at Hickory Park in Ames. Would meet half way or so when we could. Until he moved closer to Des Moines. After a year of dating Mike popped the question in the hallway of Jessica’s apartment. We had went out to eat a few days before our 1 year anniversary. Mike said he forgot his phone in the car. Then there was a knock on the door. He was kneeling down on one knee with the ring. And Jessica said yes.
