Matthew and Mikel started dating in eighth grade a sweet short lived relationship especially when Matthew broke Mikels heart right before her math final (important note: she still got a 93% so really they both won). Even after that they stayed close friends all throughout high school. Growing up together, building many memories with friends, and building a bond that never really disappeared. After graduation they went their separate ways, but not for long. Once, the timing was finally right they found their way back to each other. What started as middle school crushes turned into forever. Matthew fell in love with Mikel’s warmth, kindness, and the way she makes every place feel like home. Mikel fell in love with Matthew’s heart, humor, and steady presence that makes life feel grounded and full. Together, they are best friends, partners, and each other’s greatest support.
