If flying you have the below options! 1. Fly into Boston Logan, then from Boston Logan fly to the Martha's Vineyard Airport 2. Fly into Boston Logan, then take the Peter Pan Bus to the Steamship Authority ferry in Woodshole 3. Fly into Boston Logan, rent a car, drive to ferry / bring car to the island
Travel Note
The main ferry comes from Woodshole, MA and is operated by the Steamship Authority, with info outlined below. If traveling with a car, you can either park it in Woodshole (see parking info on website below), or bring you car to the island. Passenger tickets: $10 one way, you can buy at the ferry or on their website! The ferry will always have passenger room so no need to reserve ahead of time unless you would like to! Once on the island there are cabs, ubers & town buses that can take you to your accommodations. Car ticket: if you would like to have a car on the island, we recommend that you book it ASAP as these spots do fill up. It costs $242-340 to bring your car over (round trip) with cost dependent on your car size. Other ferry companies run from Falmouth, NYC, RI, etc. so be sure to check out what works best for you & let us know if you have any questions :)
Travel Note
The Peter Pan Bus goes from Boston Logan Airport & South Station (Boston) and drops you right at the ferry in Woodshole if you are traveling from the city without a car! You then have the option to rent a car on the island, or rely on cabs/ubers.
