Val and Mike started dating in 2021, but they have known each other since they were kids. They grew up on the same street, went to the same schools, and even went on family vacations together. While there is evidence of Val playing the long game in old photos (check the hand placement on the below photo), the two reconnected as adults the old fashioned way - on a dating app. Since then, they have been trying different restaurants and cocktail bars throughout the city, traveling, going to concerts and music festivals, and enjoying spending time together. Mike popped the question at one of Val's favorite places in the city at her favorite time of day - along the lake at sunrise. We can't wait to celebrate at our wedding with you!
