Madeleine and Trish are kindred spirits in so many ways — creative, thoughtful, and strong — yet she is entirely her own incredible person. When we discussed her role in the wedding, she initially suggested officiating (a bold and admirable idea). That role was lovingly declined, but her next idea — Maid of Honor — prompted Mike’s immediate response: “That would be perfect for you.” From that moment on, it felt undeniably right. From the moment Madeleine and Mike met, they connected instantly, as if they had always known each other. From celebrating her 13th birthday in Seattle to sharing everyday laughs and dreaming up big ideas, she brings heart and presence to everything she does. She holds a deeply special place in our lives, and having her stand beside us feels exactly right.
