We met on a little app called Hinge! On the app, there is a feature where you can send a girl a "rose" only once per week. Mike sent me one and although I didn't realize it at the time, it was the most special rose I would ever receive! Shortly afterwards, we had our first date where we spent hours talking and our spark was instant. The more time we spent together, the deeper our connection grew. Within a few months, we both felt as though we had known each other our entire lives! We fell in love and the rest is history!

Oh, well this one is a good one! My family, Mike and I had plans one rainy evening to go to a dinner party. As I was getting ready, my mom frantically rushed into my room to tell me my brother Ryan's car broke down and that I needed to pick him up. My clever little brother managed to stall me for over an hour as our families and friends were setting up a proposal party back at home! Finally we made it back to my parents house and my sweet (then boyfriend) had a proposal set up and surprised me right in my backyard! The surprise didn't end there as both our families and friends were all hiding in the dining room, waiting to congratulate us. His family even flew in all the way from Michigan to share in the celebration! It was the best day of our lives!
