Let’s do this!

We met at a wedding! Mike was a groomsman in his former roommate's wedding, and one of Theresa's best friends was also a grooms***lady. Theresa came as Emily Shipley's plus one to the wedding. Fun fact: Because DJ canceled last minute, Theresa's phone became the DJ for the rest of the evening. After the wedding, a group of guests hung out in the parking lot, talked, and enjoyed cigars. Theresa had gifted cigars to the bride and groom, and decided to enjoy them by herself now. 😬🙈😳 (Sorry Ben and Kate) Mike wanted one, and Theresa tried to swat him away as she enjoyed one herself, saying they were a gift. Swing music soon came on. Theresa decided right then to try to teach Mike to swing dance. The rest is history. ❤️ Mike loved her dancing so much (Theresa is obviously the author) he fell in love instantly.

Theresa and Mike’s second date was Glen Echo Park, where the reception is being held. The first was to a Fredrick Keys baseball game where one of Theresa’s close friends was the broadcaster for the visiting team. Theresa’s mother used to take her to events at the park and ride the beautiful carousel when she was little. She was excited to share this special place with her new love. Now they get to share it with all of their closest friends and family.
