What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is formal cocktail attire. Any type of cocktail dress or jumpsuit for the ladies and suits or shirt & tie for the men. Fun summery colors and patterns encouraged!

Will the cermony take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors, weather permitting.

Will cocktail hour and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Cocktail hour will be both indoor and outdoor. The reception will take place indoors. The venue has air conditioning.

What is the weather like in July?

High of 88 degrees and a low of 62 degrees and hopefully no rain :-)

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

We will be starting the ceremony promptly at 4:30 pm. Please arrive any time after 4:00 pm. We recommend planning for traffic (and lots of it!).

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

We will provide school bus transportation for all guests which will depart from Hotel 1620 @ 3:30 pm. If you choose to stay somewhere else nearby, you are welcome to still take the transportation from this location. There are also plenty of Ubers & Lyfts in the area. You may also drive and park at the venue.

Does the venue have parking?

Answer

Yes! If you're planning on driving, there is plenty of parking at the venue. If you plan to indulge in the open bar we recommend opting for our transportation from Hotel 1620, Uber, or Lyft.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We love your children, but we cannot accommodate guests under age 21 on our wedding day. We appreciate your understanding.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!

Will there be food and drinks served?

Answer

We will have passed appetizers, a full open bar, as well as a 3-course meal, wedding cake, and desserts!

Do you have a hotel room block?

Answer

Yes! We’ve secured a block of rooms at Hotel 1620. To take advantage of the group discount you must book your room(s) before June 2025. We highly recommend you book sooner rather than later.
