The easiest way to get to Búzios is to fly to Rio de Janeiro (both airports are ok, but you’ll likely be arriving at Tom Jobim Galeão Airport (GIG). From there, you have a few options: book a car service to take you from the airport to Búzios, rent a car at the airport and drive yourself there or take a bus! More details below.

Bus from Galeão Airport to Búzios
If your preferred way to get to Búzios is by bus, you can purchase the tickets online at the 1001 Auto Viação website. When you exit the airport, just look for signs that say "ônibus" (bus in Portuguese). If you're unsure which bus to take, you can always ask the drivers!
