    Welcome
    Seattle

Seattle

These are a few of our favorite places in Seattle, we hope you enjoy them too!

Gas Works Park

2101 North Northlake Way, Seattle, WA 98103
, (206) 684-4075

Our favorite view of Seattle and a nice place to have a picnic. This is where we took our engagement photos and where we take any visitor who has never been to Seattle.

Spinasse

1531 14th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98122
, (206) 251-7673

If you would like to treat yourself, this is our favorite restaurant. We came here for our first date, and have continued to go back for all of our anniversaries. You MUST order the butter and sage pasta, but also literally everything on the menu is delicious.

Green Lake

Seattle, WA

We love taking Sushi here for walks. Its a beautiful lake and a lovely place to go for a walk. You'll see a ton of dogs and beautiful sunsets here. There's also some great restaurants around the lake to check out. We recommend the east side of the lake for restaurants and catching great sunsets.

University of Washington

Seattle, WA 98195
, (206) 543-2100

Sharla went to school here and will happily give anyone a private tour while regaling you with her memories from college. The campus is beautiful and be sure to check out Suzzallo Library while you are there for the 'Harry Potter reading room'. The quad and the fountain are also favorites. You can walk here from the Light Rail station so its super easy to get to. U-Village is also nearby if you want to get a lot of walking in.

Elliott Bay Public House & Brewery

12537 Lake City Way Northeast, Seattle, WA 98125
, (206) 365-2337

Our favorite local Brewery!

University Village

2623 Northeast University Village Street, Seattle, WA 98105
, (206) 523-0622

A nice outdoor shopping mall (rare in WA) that is dog friendly and has lots of great shops and restaurants! Try out Hokkaido Ramen, Molly Moons (ice cream), Elemental (pizza), and Froglegs (edible cookie dough). Fun story: Sharla and Mike went on a date here pretty early on and Sharla ate too much at dinner and then still ate ice cream (because she can't help herself) and then she threw up in front of Mike and was incredibly embarrassed. She knew Mike was a keeper though because he casually kept eating his ice cream and helped her clean herself up without making a big deal of it.

Pike Place Market

85 Pike Street, Seattle, WA 98101
, (206) 682-7453

A classic Seattle spot! Sharla loves to buy flowers here but you can also find lots of cool restaurants and vendors in this area. Check out Beechers for some great cheese, Rachels Ginger Beer for some excellent moscow mules, La Panier for delish baked goods and macarons, Radiator Whiskey for some great cocktails and bites, or honestly anywhere else in the market for some good food or drinks.
