Mutual friends, common interests, and fate- Shannon had her eye on Mike when he would frequent the bar she worked at. After the two laid eyes on each other, it seemed fate had the rest already figured out. Mike came back to that same bar to ask for Shannon's number and the two have spent every day together since. It was love at first sight; with some luck, and help from friends- "All it took was a look and they were hooked."

In June 2019, Mike and Shannon were packed and ready to go for their annual trip to Maine, but this year Mike had packed something extra. It was a beautiful Saturday morning in Kennebunkport when Mike insisted taking a walk along Parson's Way after breakfast. Mike then suggested taking a photo in front of a beautiful view (where their happened to conveniently be a photographer casually waiting), seconds later, Mike dropped to one knee and popped the question. Both Mike and Shannon's families watched from a far and all came together to celebrate this special moment. Champagne was popped and tears of joys were shed-- It was simply perfect.
