With Paso Robles being home to over 200+ wineries, you can't go wrong with a day of wine tasting! Ubers are a bit spotty once you get out to wine country and the roads are winding, so highly recommend hiring a driver for the day and hitting up 3-4 vineyards worry free! We suggest Elegant Image Limousines, Uncorked Wine Tours, Central Coast Transportation or Toast Tours.
Tin City is a must visit while in Paso! A small warehouse district just three miles south of the downtown area, you can easily park and wander the entire area on foot which is filled with micro tasting rooms, breweries, wineries, distilleries and more!
Just a few blocks from the Downtown Square, you’ll find Paso Market Walk, an indoor food/drink hall filled with goodies! We love to stop in for a delicious coffee from Joebella Coffee Roasters, grab an addictive cookie from Just Baked, or a quick glass of wine from Paso Robles Wine Merchant.
Looking to do some electric biking or horseback riding through some vineyards? How about archery or ax throwing? Ever wanted to sip like a sommelier or learn about beekeeping? Explore all the fun that our wedding venue has to offer with their Camp Cass activities!
Enjoy Bruce Munro's Light at Sensorio, a 15-acre light show on rolling hills with fiber-optic stemmed spheres that change colors!
Take a stroll to the charming and welcoming Paso Robles downtown square, right on the park. Bijou, Sole Tree, The General Store, and Firefly are some of the local favorites!
Check out some other great activities in the area which are endless!
Best golf on the central coast (or so we've heard....)
San Luis Obispo or "SLO" is only about 30 minutes south of Paso and has an amazing array of restaurants, bars and shops and is entirely walkable once you're downtown! Some honorable mentions go to Scout Coffee, Rod & Hammer Rock, Sally Loo's Wholesome Cafe, Oak and Otter Brewing and Central Coast Brewing.
No recommendation list is complete without a visit to see Mikes favorite animal, seals! Take a drive over to San Simeon where you can see the only elephant seal rookery in the world that is easily accessible and open to the public all year round! You will be amazing by their size (and stink!)
Looking for a dreamy beachside getaway? Visit Cambria, Morro Bay or Pismo Beach which are all just a short drive away from Paso Robles! Cambria is great for couples, Morro Bay is known for it's adorable Sea Otters and Pismo Beach has some beautiful sea kayaking, paddle boarding and surfing, so you really can't go wrong!
