The Almond Beach Resort is a sister property and next door to The Lodge at Jaguar Reef. The ceremony and reception will be at The Lodge, however a number of guests are staying at both The Lodge and Almond Beach.

Travel Note

Travel from Belize City to The Lodge at Jaguar Reef

You and your guests will be flying into BZE (Phillip Goldson International Airport). This is the only international airport in Belize. From then you have the following options to get to the resort: 1. Shared shuttle departs BZE 12:30pm, 3:30pm or 6:30pm. 1.45 hour drive. US$96.78 per person each way. 2. Private shuttle departs BZE when you arrive- US$392 each way for 1-4 pax 3. Fly from BZE to DGA (Dangriga town is the closest to the resort village) flights vary per year- US$180 round trip- then The Lodge will pick you up from Dangriga for a 45 minute drive to the resort at a US$60 per person fee. We recommend the shared shuttle for couples and private for families. Roberto is collecting flight arrival information and will look into setting up a shared shuttle for those arriving at the same time. Note, it normally takes 1.25 hours to clear customs and immigration when in Belize.
