Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Mike Goodlet-Meijer and Rob Goodlet-Meijer
There are plenty of things to do in this small city! Some of our favorites include: Downtown Shopping at Unique Stores Excursion Rides on Lake Superior Dining at a Variety of Restaurants Visiting Orchards Taking the Ferry to Madeline Island Located in far northern Wisconsin, on the shores of beautiful Lake Superior, Bayfield is is the gateway to the Apostle Islands. Surrounded by the berry farms and orchards of the Fruit Loop, Bayfield is also known as the Berry Capital of Wisconsin. Spend some time relaxing in one of our many lakefront parks, watching the sailboats glide by as ferry makes its way back and forth to Madeline Island. You won’t find a single fast-food restaurant or national chain, long lines, and not a single stop light. Maybe that’s why the Chicago Tribune named it the “Best Little Town in the Midwest.” Charter a visit to the Apostle Islands, or take a narrated cruise to get an overview of history and culture. https://bayfield.org/experience/
