The day of the engagement was April 1, 2018. Michael and Rachel spent their anniversary and Easter Sunday with family, enjoying the beautiful Santa Cruz weather. In the evening, Michael swept Rachel away for a sunset drive up the coast to Davenport. It was there in a large cave overlooking the ocean that he proposed.
