Bahía Bioluminiscente
The Bio Bay is one of the best experiences on the island. The bay has been officially declared the brightest bay in the World. There are a number of different companies who take people out on tours. We will probably try to coordinate some sort of group activity for all who are interested on Thursday Nov 11 before our wedding.
The Beaches
There are many beautiful beaches on the island. Our favorite part? All of them are different, including a black sand beach! The majority of the beaches are located in within the Vieques National Wildlife Refuge on the southeast side of the island. The website below is great at explaining the differences in all of the beaches.
Snorkeling
There are plenty of great places for snorkeling all around the island. Here are just a few we recommend: - Bahia de la Chiva (Blue Beach) - Cayo Blanco - Escondida Beach - Mosquito Pier
La Ceiba
This giant tree is over 3 centuries old! It is truly amazing to see this Ceiba Tree in person, pictures really don’t do justice to this beautiful natural site.
