What should I wear?

Answer

The Ceremony and Reception is outside so please watch the weather as the date gets closer. We suggest wearing shoes that are comfortable for you to be outside and walk through grass and uneven areas. Also bring a few layers if you get cold in the evening!

What is the address to the Venue?

Answer

Great question! The wedding is at McKell's parents house and there is no parking for guests at the venue. We have parking at the School (listed in the Schedule section) and will have transportation to the venue.

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Airbnb has thrown us for a loop! Since the wedding is in Oregon City and there is a range of places to stay in the greater Portland area, we decided not to set up a hotel block. If you are having a hard time finding a place to stay please reach out to us so we can give you some guidance.

Where should we stay? Oregon City or Portland?

Answer

We are suggesting that people who are only in town for the Wedding stay near Downtown Oregon City. If you want to get out and explore the Pacific Northwest then feel free to stay anywhere in the Portland area! In Portland we enjoy hanging out on the East side of Portland near Division/Hawthorne/Belmont and would suggest trying to stay between the River and 60th! If you stay in Oregon City there, Main Street has some good restaurants and bars but you would most likely want a car to get around.

How long does it take to get from Portland to Oregon City.

20-40 minutes. Our recommendation is to check what traffic looks like the day of the wedding.

Tell me more about Transportation?

Answer

We have parking available at Holcomb Elementary School which is a few minutes away from the private residence. Prior to the wedding we have 2 shuttles that will be making loops to the Wedding site. Don't worry we won't keep you stuck at the wedding all night (or will we?). We will have shuttles available through the evening to take you back to Holcomb Elementary School. If you are ordering an Uber or Lyft after the wedding please order the pick up to Holcomb Elementary.

Should I stay south of Oregon City?

Answer

We suggest to stay between Oregon City and Portland. Milwaukee, Clackamas, and Happy Valley all have bigger Airbnb options if your staying with a group/family. But just be sure you have a car or your ok to stay in the Suburbs ;) If you want to walk to places by your Airbnb then we suggest staying in Portland
