Our wedding will take place at Lake Bluff Inn & Suites, a newly renovated motel located right on the shore of Lake Michigan in South Haven, Michigan. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

For those who don't know, Mike and Marissa were set up by a mutual friend (shoutout Carly Carano!!!). Carly and Marissa were coworkers at the time and she had been trying to get Marissa to meet her friend Mike for a few weeks. Marissa dodged these attempts at first because she was tired of going on bad dates with mediocre Chicago bros. Carly knew this, so she convinced Marissa to meet Mike by inviting her to a concert with him and a few friends under the condition that she wouldn't tell Mike it was a set up. This way, Marissa could suss him out without having to go on a bad date. Genius!! Needless to say, Marissa was instantly charmed by Mike and gave Carly permission to give him her number. Mike being clueless to all of this was shocked to hear that Marissa was interested in going on a date with him after this first meeting (but obviously very down!). They went on their first date shortly after and haven't stopped hanging out ever since!
