TAXIS/GROUND TRANSPORTATION
We recommend you book transportation ahead of time or you can simply hire a taxi inside the airport. There is a Taxi stand inside of baggage claim at the CTG Airport. It is easy and safe to hire a taxi here. You simply tell the attendant your destination and they print you a receipt with the zone of your destination and the fixed price of the trip. You take this outside to the cue of taxis and take the next available car. The drive to the Historic Old City, if you are staying there, should be about a 10 - 15 min drive and cost approximately 15,000 Pesos (around $5).
