FAQs

Question

What if I am late to the ceremony?

Answer

If you are late to the ceremony please avoid any interruptions, you may watch from a distance in the park or your vehicle. You are welcome to enter the reception site early. We ask that you avoid taking a seat where you may disrupt recording, or the ceremony.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a “plus one”?

Answer

Due to limited room and restrictions our venue cannot accommodate additional guests that are not listed on the invite. We have made preparations for everyone on the list for seating and dining to ensure everyone can enjoy their time celebrating with us.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please feel free to wear your nice pair or jeans without the holes, slacks, or a dress and clean cowboy boots or shoes/sandals. We want our guests to look good and feel good in casual to dressy attire. As a reminder please avoid white, cream, or light shades as these are reserved for the bride.

Question

What happens if I miss the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We ask that you RSVP by August 20th of 2023. To give everyone ample time to prepare for your attendance, with a month notice, we must provide our venue with a final guest count in advance. Therefore, if you have not submitted your RSVP by the deadline 8/20/2023, you will be marked as “declined invite” for the reception/ceremony. Although we will miss you at our wedding, we will not be able to except late RSVP’s.

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

We will not have a bar but will provide limited alcohol options, such as wine and beer. Due the the rules of the park any liquor is prohibited in the premises. We plan to have water and lemonade for nonalcoholic drinks. For kids, we plan to have juice box options.

Question

Can we bring our children?

Answer

Although we love your kids/dogs, we are not able to accommodate everyone’s children, paws or otherwise, due to limited space. We hope this will be an opportunity for us adults to celebrate together on your night out. We will have a kids table for our nieces and nephews which are in the ceremony.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

Our ceremony will be “unplugged” which means we are asking for all phones and cameras to be tucked away and silenced. We will have professionals that will capture the moment and are hoping to have full range of angles without any disruptions. After the ceremony, you are welcome to take as many photos and may tag us or use the #itsaboutdamntime on social media. We have invited a photo booth that will provide us with copies of the pictures our guests take and we will happily share the album from our big day when we receive them from our photographer as well.

Question

Am I invited to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony as a more intimate setting with limited seating, so not everyone can attend unfortunately. We are welcoming everyone to the reception with an invite to celebrate with us. Please refer to your RSVP Page for location, time, and event details.
