Shuttle & Bus Information

We have arranged buses and shuttles to bring guests to and from Henry Miller Library as there is very limited parking at the library and along Highway 1. If you are not staying at one of the mentioned hotels (maybe you’re camping or staying elsewhere), it is your responsibility to get to a pick-up spot to get on the bus or shuttle. Please take note of the times as they are firm and designed to get folks to the Library around 3:30 pm to settle in for our 4 pm ceremony. The evening ends at 10 pm and buses will be heading out then. Pick up times are below: All guests from Carmel and surrounding areas will be picked up from Carmel Mission Inn (3665 Rio Rd, Carmel-By-The-Sea, CA 93923) at 2:15 pm. The bus will be waiting in between the Carmel Mission Inn lobby and the gas station next store. Big Sur River Inn: 3 pm on the river side of the road near the General Store Big Sur Lodge: 3:15 pm in front of the lobby Deetjens: 3 pm Glen Oaks: 3:10 pm Fernwood: 3:20 pm

The Big Sur Lodge is 5 minutes away from Henry Miller Library. A shuttle will be arranged to pick up guests and bring them to the venue since parking isn't provided. Staying at the Big Sur Lodge puts you right in the heart of Big Sur, and provides access to all the parks in the area. Hiking trails are right off the Lodge!
