Due to COVID-19, we made the tough decision to postpone our wedding from January 2021 to January 2022. While we initially thought we would still get married on our original date and just have the reception a year later, COVID-19 still had other plans...so SURPRISE we will actually be getting married with you all there on January 29, 2022! Hotel Note: Our block of rooms at the Comfort Suites was transferred to the new date. Anyone who made reservations there last year should have received a cancellation email followed by a new confirmation of your reservation for the next year. New reservations at both The Roundhouse and Comfort Suites can be made now. Event Policy: Our venue now has a policy that all event attendees must provide proof of vaccination in order to attend the wedding. This check will be completed when you arrive for the ceremony, and then the rest of the night will continue as planned! This is to ensure the safety and comfort of everyone attending. Please keep this in mind when making your travel plans, and please remember to bring a copy or photo of your vaccination card.
We met in college at Bucknell University and began dating in March of our senior year. After just a few months, Mike was already inviting Kira to weddings and on family vacations! Safe to say he knew early on. After a brief year of long distance dating after graduation, we moved to Philadelphia, where we fell in love with city living. During these years we finished grad school (finally), adopted our rambunctious pup Ronnie, and Mike proposed at Longwood Gardens in June of 2019. While we loved Philly immensely, we decided to continue our journey out west to San Francisco, where Kira is working as a physical therapist and Mike as a technical consultant.
