We're getting married!

We met online in January 2020, right before the pandemic hit. Once things started getting serious, Kennedy decided to tell her dad about the new boy she was seeing who she really liked. Over lunch one day, she mentioned Mike O'Brien to her dad, to which he replied "is he related to F. X. O'Brien?" At the time, Kennedy only knew of Mike's immediate family so she asked Mike as soon as she got home if he was related to (enter long list of O'Brien relatives here). Mike then responded with "yeah, that's my (enter O'Brien relation here)". Turns out, Kennedy's dad's family and Mike's dad's family grew up together! Both of our dad's dads were Royal Oak Judges and the best of friends. His grandparents babysat Kennedy's dad, aunts and uncles, and her grandparents babysat Mike's dad, aunts, and uncles. Mike's grandparents are Kennedy's aunt's Godparents, and they were at her parents' wedding back in 1989! We truly found out just how small this world is! Mike and Kennedy feel so lucky to have found each other back in 2020 and feel fortunate to be the link to connect the Sawicki and O'Brien families. We cannot wait to celebrate our love with all of our favorite people!
