Looking for a great day trip? Saratoga Springs is a 45-minute drive from the Sagamore and an awesome city with a great downtown area, live music, bars, restaurants and shops. It's also home to the Saratoga Race Course which hosts several horse races every year!

Lake Placid

Another great day trip for those making a mini-vacation out of their stay is Lake Placid. It's about 1 hr 20 minutes from the Sagamore and is a gorgeous part of the Adirondack's. It's known for being a Winter Olympics venue and a hub for snow sports and other outdoor activities. In the center of town, Mirror Lake has a trail around the shoreline.
