These kids are getting married.

Mike and Kellie met at a bar. Before you jump to conclusions, just know that they have outlasted that bar and are very proud of the fact. Mike hosted after hours at his house and he used the opportunity to get to know Kellie better. They started talking politics and ended the evening listening to Fleetwood Mac. Mike was not very good at closing, luckily, Kellie took his phone and gave up her number. By the next week they were spending every day together watching old movies and making charcuterie. Before long Kellie moved in with Mike and her cat, Will. The cats multiplied and so did the memories. After a few years, Kellie and Mike started talking about the future and Kellie confessed that if she didn't think it would be important to Mike that she would have already proposed. This made sense to Mike because Kellie is quite the feminist and Mike is a great catch. Mike decided to buckle down and they went to look at engagement rings. Mike would take his time paying off the engagement ring. So much time that Kellie started to wonder if Mike really was, in fact, going to propose. While he was over-thinking the perfect proposal, she was finding the ring hiding around the house every few months. Luckily, on a family trip in Hilton Head in September 2016 he figured it out. Mike brought the ring with him and planned a special day in Savannah for the two of them. After having the most incredible day Mike chickened out. Vacation ended and it looked like Mike squandered his perfect opportunity. At the last minute he recommended a breakfast back in Savannah before they left. They went for a walk after and Kellie and Mike found themselves alone in Madison Square. Mike got down on one knee and asked Kellie to marry him. It seems the perfect moment was waiting for them all along.
