Travel times between hotels and venues

The Deford hotel & The Sanctuary home, Ottawa: 21 minutes from Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Bavaria, OH 20 minutes from Brush Creek Farms, Leipsic, OH The Hilton Garden Inn, Findlay: 41 minutes from Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Bavaria, OH 30 minutes from the reception venue at Brush Creek Farms, Leipsic, OH There is a 15-minute drive from the church to the reception venue.
Question
When should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
We encourage you to arrive at 12:30 pm to enjoy the wedding music that will begin. The ceremony will begin promptly at 1:00 pm. We'd like the Cassidy and Shuey families to remain in the church after the ceremony in order for our photographer to catch quick family photos with the newlyweds.

Can I take pictures at the ceremony?
Answer
While we understand the itch to capture the moment, we not only want our professional photos untainted by cell phones, but we truly desire your full presence & support as we commit ourselves to each other before God (both today and until death due us part!). Kindly leave your phones in your vehicle or silenced. At the reception, feel free to take as many pictures & videos as you'd like!

Is the reception indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Cocktail hour and Reception at Brush Creek Barn will be indoors but the barn doors will be open! Seating will be in the barn, which includes a loft. Covered tents will be set up if weather requires.

Are children invited?
Answer
While all children are welcome to the wedding ceremony, we are not able to accommodate the same number at the Reception due to the size of the venue. Please note your wedding invite. All babies under one year/breastfeeding are welcome.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
Due to limited space, we are only able to accomodate those guests formally invited on their wedding invitation. Please note your invite.

What if I can't make it?
Answer
YOU WILL BE MISSED but we understand & hope you arrive safely to wherever else you may be traveling. We do ask for your prayers as we start our new married life. We also hope to see you soon!
